Our thoughts are powerful. What we pay attention to, is what grows. Rather than getting carried away by all our thoughts, and having no control whatsoever, we can direct our thoughts to manifest and attract the things we want and need in our life to live a healthier, happier, more soulful and prosperous life. Here at Nomad Haven, we were pleased to have Sara Anderson, our in-house leadership and communication coach, lead us through a powerful meditation session to help us manifest our goals for this year.

What Does It Mean To Manifest?

"To manifest, you intentionally think, act, and live in a way that ultimately leads to what you want. You can manifest love, money, your perfect home, a dream job – anything you desire! Manifesting your dreams and working toward your goals requires you to trust the process, stay positive, and perhaps practice the law of attraction."

The law of attraction seems simple: By visualizing your desires, and focusing your thoughts on what you want, the universe will present you with those desires. While there are debates about whether the law of attraction is helpful or not, all it comes down to is that you simply can’t wait for the universe to show you what you want; you must actively play a role in manifesting what you most desire (Zorfass, 2022).

8 Simple Steps To Manifest The Life You Dream Of

1. Visualize In Detail

What do you wish for? Be specific and make a plan. Be clear about WHAT you want, WHY you want what you want, and WHO does it benefit. Your thoughts have a creative force that allows you to envision a clear picture of what you desire to attract into your life. Act as if it's already here. What emotions do you feel now that your vision has been fulfilled? Start with the end in mind.

2. Choose & Practice Gratitude

Worries and stresses are routine. Choose gratitude by taking a moment to think about all the things in your life to be grateful about. Keep a gratitude journal. When you are grateful for the things you do have, it opens the door for more abundance to come through.

3. Raise The Vibration

All of us give off energy, which you can tell from someone’s body language, attitude, tone, and behavior. Raising your vibration and giving out positive energy sends signals to the universe that you’re open to new opportunities.

4. Eliminate What No Longer Serves You

Self-reflect honestly, and get rid of things that do not serve you anymore. Acknowledge your past, thank it for the lessons you have learnt, and then let go. Come back to the present and move forward with confidence.

5. Affirm Yourself

By repeating affirmations daily, we set an intention for the universe to fulfill our wish. Here are some examples of affirmations, and there are many more that we can resonate with.

I am enough, I have enough I am the creator of my experience Everyday I am moving towards my goals I am cherished and unique

I am open to receiving abundance from the universe

6. Face Doubt and Fear

Limiting beliefs are the thoughts that tell us we can't achieve our goals. It's a story we tell ourselves that can become true if we repeat it all the time. Feel the fear, but do it anyway.

7. Receive

If you don't ask, the answer is always no.

8. Dream

You are the creator of your own story. There is no deadline on your dreams.

When we do the inner work, the universe will respond in unexpected ways.
